Linda Siefkas

Linda Siefkas is a proven business leader with more than 25 years’ experience helping clients enhance their reputations, shape public policy, and engage with the community. She previously served as senior vice president for Business Advocacy for the Columbus Chamber. Prior to joining the Chamber, she served as senior vice president and manager of the Columbus office of Edward Howard & Co., a regional public relations firm. From 1993 until 1998, she was president of Siefkas Communications, Inc., a public relations firm known for its expertise in public affairs and marketing communications.

Her work has won numerous awards, including a Silver Anvil, the profession's highest honor, from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA); Innovation in Grassroots Award from the Public Affairs Council; and, awards for government relations and education programs from the Ohio Society of Association Executives.

Siefkas served as vice president, communications, for The Success Group, Inc., one of Ohio’s most influential lobbying firms. She was director of public relations for the former Hameroff/Milenthal/Spence, Inc., a prominent Midwest advertising agency. She was executive director of the Small Business Association of Michigan and the founding executive director of the Ohio Small Business Council of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce. Siefkas began her career on the staff of the Ohio Senate.

Active in the community, Siefkas serves on the Boards of the Columbus Medical Association Foundation, Action for Children (Secretary), and the Jazz Arts Group (Secretary), and is the immediate past president of Mental Health America of Franklin County. She was appointed by the Franklin County Commissioners to the Human Services Levy Review Task Force, a seven-member citizens committee, where she served for a number of years. Additionally, she served on the 2003 Campaign Cabinet of United Way of Central Ohio.

Siefkas is Accredited in Public Relations (APR) by the Public Relations Society of America, and earned a B.A. from the University of Akron.
